“ My favorite general bar in Capitol Hill. Corvus has a dark, moody, occult vibe that's a joy to relax in. One of the best atmospheres of any local bar. You can tell from the bottle collection that they prioritize interesting and bold flavors with their limited space: no matter what your favorite spirit is, they probably have some of your favorites. As a rum aficionado, it's so rare to see a bar that prioritizes Weid, Interesting Rums (like Uruapan and Marinique rums) over your mainstays. You usually have to go to rum bar or tiki bar for bottles like that! The menu's creative and interesting: the drinks are all combinations of novel, unique flavors that you wouldn't think of on your own. The staff are knowledgable, excellent bartenders who contribute their own creative concoctions to the rotating menu. Come in from time to time to see what's changed! The owner's also great and plenty approachable. Overall, can't recommend Corvus enough! ”
“ Clearly labeled vegan options, though many options are labeled "vegan, contains honey", which does seriously limit the number of actual vegan options. Still, the food I did have was very good (especially their fries are absolutely killer), and they serve a very tasty mocktail. ”
“ Loved the new revamp. Had the lava salmon, rainbow beets, and scallops. (Think they had a different name?) The lava salmon was so rich and flavorful, and the croquettes were very underplayed on the menu, they were my favorite part! Definitely nice and filling. The beets we got mostly for a vegan friend on the table (I’m not usually a big fan of beets) but wow were they pretty to my eyes and my stomach. They were nice and earthy but also nicely balanced with the gochujang sauce. Love love love Hokkaido scallops. They tasted so fresh and the bits of ikura were to die for. It really was a fun experience to grab some fancy drinks and food with friends. Cute date night spot and love the walking distance to the light rail ”

“ This is a cool bar. It’s got a steampunk vibe to it and some pretty great dumplings. Drinks were very innovative and good. I had the Lantern of the Deep. We came on a weekday and it seems like there are a lot of old-timers - the bartender knew a lot of them by name and was chatting them up. She also was clearly passionate about her drinks. This bar stands out to me as being one of the more down-to-earth places in Capitol Hill. Highly recommend! ”

“ Love this bar! I love the Seoul Shrooms and the lamb dumplings. One of the best Espresso Martinis on the hill. Be prepared for a brief wait for a seat but very worth it. Friendly and attentive staff. ”
